Blog#5: Setagaya (Minako)

Hello. This is Minako. I was born and grew up in Setagaya, Tokyo. I live in Setagaya for 19 years. Today, I would like to talk about Setagaya.

Setagaya is known for a residential section. The population of Setagaya-ku is over 866,000 people. It is larger than the population of Yamanashi, Saga or Fukui. Moreover, there are many a celebrity's houses. For example, Masatoshi Hamada (a comedian), Seiko Matsuda (a singer) and Masakazu Tamura (an actor).
If you come to Setagaya, please ride on Setagaya Line. The train of Setagaya Line is a two-cars formation, and is very small scale. The total length of the line is five kilometers. The near station of my house is an unmanned station. The terminal point of Setagaya Line is Sangenjaya station.

“Carrot Tower” is located in Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku. It is a building of the color of a carrot and the highest floor is an observation room. There is also a restaurant. A great scene and a delicious dish are very good. Please go there. You will be able to enjoy yourself.

Moreover, a famous temple is also located in Setagaya. It is Gotoku-ji (豪徳寺). Gotoku-ji is called birthplace of the beckoning cat. A beckoning cat is an auspicious thing and it is very popular.

Blog#5 My home town (Ryo)

I live in Nerima of Tokyo. Some people know Nerima, not so many people. Narima is known for the hot place in Tokyo. If visitor come to Nerima in summer, they would feel hot!! If one day is a too hot day, maybe weather forecaster would say that Nerima is especially hot and temperature is 37.5 degree.

But, there is institution of swimming pool called "Toshimaen" in Nerima which is well-known for hot place!! I had done a swimming pool staff in "Toshimaen" So, I know many things about Toshimaen. If there is something about it, ask me! It is known for the swimming pool and amusement park. You can go them by using tickets. The atraction in pool I recommend you strongly are Waterslide and Flowing pool. It has 12 Waterslides in total and there are two types of Waterslides. Common slider that you lay flat on back and  the slider using floats, this slider is called "Hydropolis(ハイドロポリス)" Hydropolis has two types of floats, Single-seater float and two seater float. Flowing pool is big and it is like a circle. You can feel relax with floating water or riding a float.

 

Finally, I think there  are many cute girls and handsome boys who has well-muscled bodies!!!!

Blog#4 Hideaki Itou (Ryo)

Do you know "Umizaru" ? And, do you know Itou Hideaki? He is a well-kown Japanese actor. He has appeared a lot of movies and dramas. His work of art that brings fame is "Umizaru", I think.  He wears rough style clothes, not so flashy and his hair is short and cool.
THe first time I watched him was a movie of "Umizaru". "Umizaru" is a story that one Coast Guard officer aim hardly to be a full manhood diver. I was very impressed with his desparate acting and I felt that I wanted to be a Coast Guard Officer and save someone's life!!!

Also, he has been appearing many movies. For example, "Akunokyouten" and  "Buzzer Beat"
So maybe, you would have seen him several times.
Especially, I like him because he has muscle body, so I think he is a masculine man!!!

Blog#4: Yuta Tabuse (Yuichi Yoshida)

Do you know Yuta Tabuse? He is a Japanese professional basketball player.

He is a one of the players good at basketball most in Japan. His position is point guard. Point guard is a play maker. His height is 173cm. The avrage of NBA plaer's height is 202cm! He is not tall but, he has speed and technique.
He graduated Noshiro high school in Akita. Noshiro high school is the most strong high school in Japan. He was regular and led the team to the national chanpions.

He is a first NBA from Japan!

 

Recently, he backs to Japan and belongs Link Tochigi which is Japanese professional basketball team.

I hope appear the second NBA player.

Blog#4: Shinji Kagawa(MISAKI)

Hello everyone. Today I would like to introduce famous soccer player Shinji Kagawa(香川真司）who is member of Japan national team. He' position is MF or FW, he has excellent technique, for example  speed, ball control, shoot, and pass etc. All ability is so high, people hope high techique goal whenever he has ball in any game.

 

He signed with SEREZO OSAKA（セレッソ大阪） in 2005, he leave good performance that made 7 goal in 11 game. Then, he transferred to Borussia Dortmund that is a German sports club based in Dortmund, it is famous soccer club. In 2012, his performance was praised and he was elected
Bundesligas's best 11. Then he transferred to Manchester United that is ppowerhouse team of the world's leading. Now he play an active part in this team, play in high level environment with super soccer player.

I like soccer from childhood so I know various Japanese soccer player, but I suppose that Shinji Kagawa is most player have high technique and seance. I hope he will more famous in the world and I want many people see his soccer and are excited.

 

Blog#4: Daisuke Miura (Minako)

Hello. This is Minako.

Today, I would like to talk about Daisuke Miura (三浦大輔). He is a player of a baseball team called Yokohama DeNA Baystars. He is a good pitcher.

I went to Chiba last month in order to see the game of baseball. There was a game of Chiba Lotte Marines versus Yokohama DeNA Baystars. Although I was cheering the Marines, they lost a game. They could not score one run in the game. The pitcher of the Baystars at that time was Miura. He shut out the Marines. He was great, so I chose him.

He wears the uniform of Baystars. The uniform is a blue stripe pattern on a white ground. His uniform number is 18.


Hama No Bancho

I think that his appearance is fierce. His hairstyle is regent and very characteristic. He is called the “Hama No Bancho.” It means that “the juvenile gang leader of Yokohama.” I think that his nickname is perfect for him. What do you think?

Blog#4 Kei Nishikori(Masaki S.)

 This is a photo of  Kei Nishikori. He is one of the most famous tennis player in the world. His age is 23 years old but his  world ranking is 11th. He is a pupil of the Shuzo Matsuoka. so his play style is so patient that He has the quality of all coats.
 His recent play style is changed, and the result won with three rounds of the Madrid open that there was in that famous tennis player Roger Federer. This is the game at that time.

 

He grows up steadily from now on and thinks that it becomes strong so that one is set beside a world 　　　　　　　　　　top player in the future. I want to watch his growth from now on. so I watch his blog ever games.

 

 

Blog#4: Yosuke Eguchi (Yuta Mizuma)

 Hello, everyone !! In this blog, I'm going to tell you about one person of the picture below.

 

Is he a doctor ?



 

 Do you know who he is ? What does he do in his job ? Is he a doctor ? No, he is a Japanese actor, Yosuke Eguchi. He appears a lot of dramas and movies. Why I've chosen him as my blog's theme is that he looks cool and a good person, I think. And more, I'm interested in his styles in some dramas which title is "Kyumei byoto 24ji"-emergency room 24 hours. His doctor style looks great !! He looks like a true doctor. If he were a doctor, I would want him to care me

His usual style is not gorgeous, but any styles match him, no, he matches any styles. And more, no one thinks his face is  not good. He cannot be thought he is over 40 !! I like him so much, and I will continue watching on TV to know his good styles and learn what I should put on. Of course I'm not as cool as what he is like :(

 

Blog#3 Ganjinwajyou museum(Ryo)

Do you know Ganjin? Is it a name? or a place? The answer is a name of  chinese buddhist priest(688~763).  Ganjin was a eager buddhist priest and he is popular with sailing to Japan to propagate commandments to Japan. But, at that time, sailing abroad was not easy. So, he had failures to sail to Japan. And, unfortunately, at the his 4th try, he had loss of eye sights. At 5th try,  he was succeed to sail to Japan at last!!




Tousyoudaiji

I went to show of Ganjinwajyouzou at Ueno park in 2005 with my father. Fortunately, it was carried to Tokyo and I could see it. Always, it is in Tousyoudaiji in Nara prefucture. There were many visitors and some of them were foreighners. I was impressed with seeing the Ganjinwajyouzou. It was so small that I was very surprised. It's sixe is about 80 cm. He build Tousyoudaiji in Nara  in 759. It was build to be a ascetic practice place for Japanese munks to learn commandments. If you want to see it, you have to go to Nara. If you have a chance, go to Nara and see the Ganjinwajyou and Tousyoudaiji!!
