During this spring vacation, I went to Thailand with my friends. Take a look a picture below.

Pathaya in Thailand
We stayed in Thailand for 7 days. Our hotel was in Bangkok, and we visited Ayuthaya and Bangkok, too. In Pathaya, we played in the sea and on the beach. I found that the number of visitors was much more than the number of Thai people. The place foreigners often go is maintenced while they visit lessly.

The Reclining Buddha's the back of foot
In October, 2011, a big flood struck Thailand, especially Ayuthaya. Can you find a line ? The line is the very proof that its water steeped over human's height ! The picture I wanna show you at the last is under.

Why the Buddha has been covered with the cloth is that its paint was peeled off due to the flood. I hope it will be painted again and not be broken anymore. If you have any quentions, feel free to ask me :)
This is Ms. MacGregor. It looks like you had a really great trip. What was the highlight of your trip? And where is the Reclining buddha - is it in Bangkok? I forget though I think I have been there before. Did you enjoy some good things to eat? And did you buy any souvenirs? I hope you can travel a lot while you are a student.
ReplyDeleteThe higtlight of my trip was that we visited Ayuthaya by rental bike !! It was only us that visitors went around the region. The Buddha is in Ayuthaya, too. There, we saw 3 Japanese girls from Nagoya.
