Blog #6: Trip to Italy and UK (Yuta)

Hello, everyone!
I was traveling Italy and UK for 2 weeks with my friends. Look at some pictures below.

Picture 1

 Picture 1 is glasswork in Murano Island near Venice in Italy. The island is familiar with that material. I bought one of them for me to put my key ang glasses at my home.

 Picture 2 is the Leaning Tower of Pisa and me. This tower leans about 5° to the south. We can see it from south direction. I imagined the location where Galileo had watched an apple was falling down from the top of that tower.

 Picture 3 is "We are the beach boys!", which I wrote and that was one of lines of my favorite drama, Beach Boys. By the way, here was a tower of church in Florence. Many people made graffiti there.

 Picture 4 is Colosseum in Rome. Why do you know does the building lack a part of its shape? It's because: this is made with the Roman concrete, its main componet is Volcanic ashes from Mt.Vesvio. The material is so strong that people in those days took some part of this stadium.

 The moutain we can see over is Mt. Vesvio. In 67, the volcano erupted and covered Nopoli, one of cities, with its ashes. Now that mountain is not regarded as danger volcano. I took this photo on a ship going gack from Capri Island, taht is familiar with The Blue Cave.

 Picture 6 is The Stonehenge in UK. This is located the center of huge prairie. We can rent the guidance audio with free. I listened to the speaker of course in Japanese, and I could find its history and tradition a little.

  This is The London Bridge. It was rainy at that time, but after that, it changed to sunny! It was so beautiful. I've never seen such a huge and magnificent bridge!

The Last picture

 This is so famous all over the world. This building is located in Vatican City in Rome. We can enter this "country"without passport. By the way, what is this building? If you know what this is, answer my question through Comment :)
